Koh Chang, Thailand

So after countless numbers of Beer Changs in Bangkok, we got in a cab and told him to take us to Trat, which is half way across Thailand. The cab driver initially thought we were kidding, so we came down in price to 6,000 baht. He agreed, we checked out of the hotel and we were off to Trat! Trat has the ferry terminal for Koh Chang (Island).

Once we got to the Koh Chang, we rented 125 cc motorbikes for 250 baht a day and were off. We stayed in the village called white sand beach. We planned on diving on Koh Chang, but a storm took care of that idea for us. The storm was so bad that we were moved to the second story of the MAC resort hotel. They had also suspended the ferry for 2 days due to 15 seas. We had an excellent time none the less.
